All new clients must present vaccinatio records for their pet before or at time of drop-off.

If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment we will assess and determine if we need to reschedule or if we can still fit your grooming session into the day’s schedule. Determination is based upon condition of your pet’s coat and your groomer’s workload.
All pets must be picked up within 1 hour of the owner being called. If you are the last appointment of the day we will call you 30 minutes prior to the time we will finish. All pets must be picked up by 5:00pm unless we have agreed to a different time prior to the grooming session.
Any pet left with us after 5:00pm may be boarded at the owner’s expense.
We strive to make the drop-off and pick-up process as easy as possible for our clients. Please let us know of any questions or concerns you may have when you drop your pet off with us.

It is crucial to our daily schedule that appointments be kept. As we have a fixed number of availabilities each day, we ask that clients give us a minimum 36-hour notice if they must cancel their grooming session. This way we have time to schedule someone else who may be waiting on an opening.
We understand that emergencies can occur and we will work with you, but not on a continued basis.
Last minute cancellations and no-shows will be required to pay in full for their canceled grooming session if the spot cannot be filled.
Pre-payment in full will be required before another appointment can be scheduled if you fail to cancel in a timely manner or do not show up for your appointment, should we retain you as a client.

While we take every precaution to provide your pet with a safe and worry-free grooming experience, sometimes accidents can and do happen when working with animals. Grooming tools are sharp and animals may wiggle and move around. Examples include but are not limited to scratches, cuts, nail bleeds, nicks, etc.
Your pet’s safety and comfort is our top priority. If an accident occurs you will be immediately notified. If we feel there is a serious injury and you are not on-site, we will seek immediate veterinary care for your pet.
When you schedule a grooming session with us you provide us with full authorization to seek emergency medical attention for your pet in case of an accident.
If you notice an inury of any kind after your grooming session, we ask that you let us know within 24 hours so we can assess and discuss appropriate treatment/care. Purrfectly Pampered Pet Spa will not be liable for any medical expenses unless injury is brought to our attention within 24 hours.

Clients MUST tell us if their pet has a history of biting or is aggressive to people, other animals, or specific grooming procedures. We reserve the right to refuse service at any time. In the event that your pet is too stressed or becomes dangerous to groom, Purrfectly Pampered Pet Spa has the right to refuse grooming services, stop grooming services, or cancel grooming services at any time before, during, or after.
All pets who exhibit signs of aggression will be muzzled for their safety and for the safety of our staff.
We proudly offer pre-grooming meetings for scared pets to meet our staff and get comfortable with us before the grooming session. Contact us to schedule.
-
We require your pet be up-to-date on all vaccinations. Your pet MUST be current on their Rabies vaccination in order to receive service. If your pet is not vaccinated and illness occurs during or after grooming Purrfectly Pampered Pet Spa will NOT be liable for any veterinary costs.

Pets with matted coats will require extra time and attention. Mats in your pet’s coat can grow tight, not only causing your pet pain but damaging their skin and making way for parasite infestations. We will not cause serious or undue stress on your pet by brushing out a severely matted coat.
Mats are extremely difficult to remove and will most likely result in a complete shave of your pet. There is an additional $35 minimum charge for a full shave, and we will always notify you beforehand if we determine we must shave your pet. It is not uncommon for nicks, cuts, or abrasions to occur while removing a heavily matted coat. Skin irritations that did not exist prior to the grooming session can occur as well, as matting can trap moisture, urine, and feces near the pet’s skin and cause bacterial growth or fungus.
Your pet may experience itchiness, skin redness, and/or self-inflicted abrasions after a shave. Hair may fail to regrow and your pet may experience brief behavioral changes as they adjust. As prevention is the best defense against matting, we recommend that you schedule a regular grooming session every 4-8 weeks.
All veterinary care resulting from matting will be the responsibility of the owner.

We strive to be a flea-free salon for the comfort and safety of our staff and clients. If your pet has fleas they will be given a flea pill at your expense. If you do not want them to have a flea pill, you may bring them back to us once the fleas have been treated at home.
Additional fees may apply for tick removal.
